Day 1.211: Lakes and Ladders

One of the most popular short hikes in the area is the Indian Ladder Trail. We have had mixed reports about its difficulty based on the ages of our children and have resisted it until today. With a slightly higher adult to child ratio than normal we decided that it was as good a time as any.

Fortunately there are no actual ladders, although it was not always so apparently:


However, the replacement is still quite impressive:

A large part of the rest of the day was spent in planning some trips for later in our guests' visit. Lakes look set to feature strongly, as you will see in due course!
