Yesterday's post led me to other bumper stickers, amongst them the rather cryptic, "Not all of us are sheep" which might be something of a relief in the light of this picture - a tableau I found on walking into our kitchen. Ariel (post-unmermaiding) seems rather taken aback by what she has found on dry land - well wouldn't you be?
It looks like today's cold weather may have been the last for a while, even night-time lows could be above freezing soon. If you want to put it all in context, I recommend WeatherOnline, where you can plot graphs of temperature, rainfall etc. for individual weeks, months or whole years for places around the world, and see climate change in action (or just decide what clothes to pack for your holidays). As for how long it will take for the snow (both undisturbed and man-made) to disappear, watch this space.
