Day 297: Watch your step

This morning we were doing another easy hike at Five Rivers - it was a new trail to us and very pretty. Seeing where the trail goes when there is a thick layer of leaves on the ground is slightly interesting though. At the end of the trail, Exile #2 nearly took everyone around again. Fortunately I recognised the bridge the trail sign was pointing across as the one we had played Poohsticks on at the beginning of the walk. Some parts such as this were a bit steep and others had dramatic warnings about 'cliffs' and 'loose footing', but it was a very gentle walk really.

This evening I spent at C & B's house in the countryside about half an hour's drive from here. They were hosting DDR night for the rest of the church founders. In the end, for a variety of reasons, I was their only guest, but the three of us had a great time dancing (it all came back to me after the best part of a year away from the mat) and chatting.
