Day 1.297: Sign: off the time

This sign has been showing up on-and-off near our house for several months - we've no idea what the story behind it is. Feel free to add your theory to the comments - or maybe you actually know? Exile #2 saw an elderly man apparently removing it one day, but it was soon back. Indeed the only pattern to its presence is that until today it was never there when I had time, opportunity and the camera to take a half-decent picture.

Anyway, curiosities like this aside, we are very relieved that the election is here at last - it feels like we've been leading up to it ever since we arrived here. I don't know how we'd feel about it if we actually had a vote, but as greatly-affected by-standers, it's been a long, long ride.

It's election-eve pop pun (and number 84) for title-watchers. Let's fall in love, get married, have a baby. We'll call him Nate... if it's a boy.
