Day 3.206: Bird, bird, Birdland

The girls spent the morning using the feathers they collected to make their own birds and in celebration of their achievements we visited Birdland in Bourton-on-the-Water. It was very successful - birds (including penguin slapstick for E5N1, flamingoes for Exile #4 and a row of owls for Exile #3), playground, lunch and outdoor time were all greatly appreciated - even when we had a shower of rain.

Our late-afternoon downtime activity was watching Nanny McPhee - which was also thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family.

This evening we stole a couple of hours of kid-free time again to visit friends - but we'll be back with them with the whole gang tomorrow!
