I tried a different route for my morning run. It took me along some "interesting" trails, past some possibly-seasonal outdoor restaurants and up (and later down) a lot of stairs. On the plus side it was a beautiful morning and I got to enjoy this view.

Day 6.063: Invasion thwarted (at dinner time)
While we were waiting for dinner, a news report came on about the Japanese invasion of this town yesterday. As far as I can work out, the invasion was a little half-hearted and was beaten back by Koreans with antiquated weapons.
Sometimes, not understanding the language makes life more exciting!

Day 6.061: Calling home (in a whirl)
I am busy with work in my second two-week stint in Korea for the year. However, I have found time for some interesting food, a couple of runs and a few calls home.
Today, I got an update on the science fair project - creating a vortex in a soda bottle to get the water to flow quicker.
It seems to be causing a stir back home!
