Unusually for me, I did my long run on Sunday as two loops of essentially the same course. I did it because I wasn't sure if I was feeling well enough to do the full 16 miles and wanted to give myself options.
In the end I ran the whole thing without any ill-effects from my cold.
I was also able to take these two pictures (from nearly the same place) just over an hour apart.
What a difference an hour makes!
