Day 4.010: Icy, more snow

This morning, work took me about 50 miles south of here - down there this week's messy storm was predominantly freezing rain and the trees were beautifully glazed in the late morning sunshine.

I took this picture yesterday morning - a little ice with a dusting of snow on top, but you can also see the snow banks by the side of the driveway. We've had more snow since then - a little here and there, but there is another storm just winding up now which is expected to bring us another three to six inches overnight and tomorrow morning. Winter is tightening its grip.
