Day 3.142: Up and at 'em

After a busy stay-at-home long weekend, it was back to work and school today. Here is E5N1 representing my energy levels at this end of the day.

He has taken to falling asleep in the day and being hard to rouse.  This was on Saturday after our little shopping trip.  We let him sleep (if lying him on the deck doesn't count as trying to wake him) and he didn't want to go to bed at the end of the day.  On Sunday, he fell asleep on the way to the gathering and I decided to wake him by standing him up - he managed to stay asleep on his feet for a remarkable length of time before grudgingly waking.  Bedtime was more successful.

Yesterday, the excitement of the the cook-out kept him awake all day but instead of ending the day by collapsing exhausted into bed, he ended it by blocking a toilet with a whole roll of paper and flooding the house - it seems we can't win!
