I enjoyed playing music in the bandstand where detectors (for different instruments) sense the height of your hand (or your son) if held in the right place and plays a note: higher-hand - higher-note. Music-geek-cool.
The girls enjoyed pretty much everything - shopping in a old fashioned grocery store, making and serving food at the diner, sliding down a firemen's pole, driving the trolley (which became a train at some point) to and from NYC and Boston (for unknown reasons).
Exile #3 and I loved doing the scavenger hunts - so much simpler and age-appropriate than the ones in most museums, they have just laminated some photos of details from around the museum and you take a set of about 8 of these and go and find the objects that were photographed. Here she is with one of her discoveries.
