Day 1.212: Close to the edge (of the drive)
In a gap in the prevailing rainy weather today, the girls and their cousin and uncle did a sidewalk-chalk portrait of each of us. Can you tell who's who? Soon after I took these pictures they were washed away.
In another break in the weather we walked to the centre of the village together and visited the very nice coffee-shop there.
This evening, after the kids were all safely asleep in bed, our guests like so many before were introduced to the joys of Rock Band. After they learned their trades on their own, we made up a four-piece for a few songs.
Which combination of art and noise brings me to pop pun 70 for title watchers - although they did the punning for me: tra-la-la!
