Day 6.158: Knocking off the rough edges

One of Exile #4's birthday presents was a rock tumbler - it smooths and polishes stones using sand and a tumbling action similar to the waves on a beach. It's been churning away in the garage for the last few days. It's only the first of three stages with increasingly fine-grained sand to get a shiny finish, but it's already produced this transformation:
