This is the first non-visitor non-school week of the summer for the rest of the family and at least two of the three kids celebrated by being a bit off-colour today. By the time I got home, E5N1 was on slightly better form, but Exile #3 was very floppy and unhappy. At least Exile #2 is fighting fit again and ready to fight illness for someone else for a change.
For me it's been a normal work week so far but tomorrow we will celebrate July 3rd - the last day of civilisation in this land - and then join the national day of mourning for the loss of the benevolent reign of British rule on Friday. Probably.
