We've had a great (and very full day). This morning Albaniana and family came over for bouncy-castle bouncing, water-slide sliding and UK-trip reminiscing. When they left we drove up to see our newly moved friends for a July 4th barbecue. We had forgotten that their new place had a pool, but with a bit of help from our hosts and a bit from their local stores, we were soon joining in with some excellent swimming from Exile #3 and Exile #4
and some lessons in advanced technique from me.
We drove past and through downtown Albany on our way home to get a close up view of the fireworks in the Empire State Plaza. The roads for miles around were lined with parked cars and watching crowds. We drove right under them - we couldn't stop, but we got a fantastic view for a few seconds.
(Exile 'I'm not a photographer' #2 took the pictures today!)
