Day 3.178: Happy Birthday!

Exile #2's birthday started well, with presents and cards and ended well with a very nice meal at Mangia with gluten-free pasta and other good stuff. Babysitting and chauffeur service were very kindly provided by Albaniana and her Man respectively. Although we did lay on entertainment in addition to giving our heartfelt thanks.

It was a good evening for fireflies tonight making it pretty special to be outside after dark even though the temperature stayed in the 90's until quite late. It is now around midnight and still 82°F at the nearest weather station.

The picture is from Mother's Day, but - it kind of was that again today, in this household at least.
