Day 3.060: Driveway art (and a bunch of other stuff)

Exile #2 drew this rather excellent picture of the planets on the driveway a few days ago and it seemed like a good opportunity to thank my regular pop pun solvers for their giant-spotting the day before yesterday and give you all a chance to hear some TMBG. We love these guys especially the Here Comes Science album, which has taught our kids without them noticing that the sun is 93 million miles away (and that's why it looks so small!) and that all living things are mostly made of four elements (plants, bugs, birds, fish, bacteria and men are mostly carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen).

They have also learned that there eight planets orbiting the sun - but that's not all all!

Enjoyed from here:

  1. ooh, that's a bit spooky. i took a similar photos of some white painted water meter covers. they reminded me of the colour of varookas after the footdoctor applied her special ointment.

  2. Very nice... I see what you mean about TMBG being in our collective consciousness.

And I now use the phrase 'a bunch of other stuff' to explain my way out of a 'bunch' of other situations thanks to them. I figure, if they can do it, why do I need to go into details.

    Nice blog!
