Of course, the kids (if not all of us) have been more than slightly culturally contaminated by the last five years and forty-two days, but we knew today was about pancakes.
Alas, our first effort - at breakfast time - looked like this:
which may obey the letter of the law, but hardly captures the spirit of it.
At dinner time we tried again - and this time we got it about right I think - lemon juice, sugar and rolled up flat pancakes:
flipping fantastic!

Great stuff! Any of the dinner ones egg and diary free? We've found a recipe which can make little ones, but the ability to attempt to stick the dinner to the ceiling would also be great! N
ReplyDeleteBoth were dairy- and gluten-free but with eggs. Exile #2 finds a lot of good gluten and/or dairy-free recipes on the internet - I think mostly from blogs she's learned to trust but maybe try googling 'vegan crepes'?
