In the end, the frost was enough to discourage leaf-pile jumping at school bus pick-up time today. Instead
Exile #3 came and waved this dandelion clock at me - now I am no fan of dandelions, but given a close look, a frosty specimen is, I'll grudgingly admit, quite attractive.
She also chose to wear her purple
jumper as a
sweater. Whether or not the conviction that it is a warm layer to wear over other clothes started as a confusion over the US meaning of 'jumper', I don't know, but it seems to work.
