Day 1.149: Divide and conquer

This afternoon Exile #4, E5N1 and me went to a party to celebrate the end of the Pre-K school year. It involved an inflatable water slide, a 1.5 acre 'pond' - more like a lake really - for swimming etc., a huge basement playroom and an impressive 'swing-set' (pictured).

Unfortunately, Exile #4 was not on good form - shunning the water-slide completely after getting a bit of water spashed in her face. It was lucky for us that a thunderstorm drove everyone inside for a while and allowed her to be sociable.

E5N1 was on much better form - using his new cheeky-grin (pictured) to good effect to win over hearts, minds and food from people's plates.

Meanwhile Exile #2 took Exile #3 to see a one-woman show celebrating Pippi Longstocking (you may remember that Exile #3 has become a fan) and her creator. They had a great time by both accounts and came back with a blagged signed poster - 'See I can be American now!' observed the asked-and-she-did-receive Exile #2.

We all met up again at our church gathering where we were discussing Matthew 7:7 - funnily enough. The poster wasn't mentioned until we all got home this evening however.
