Yes, it finally snowed last night. Exile #4 was already persuading E5N1 to come out to play in it with her (Exile #3 having made it quite clear that she is no more ready for snow now than she was when it came in October), when we discovered that there was a snow delay for the girls and no school for E5N1.
I went to work as normal, but first I witnessed some fairly competent snowman construction and a whole lot of smiles.
It was already raining when they were doing this and the day has continued in English winter's day style with dull wet near-freezing weather. There's still some snow around, but it's certainly nothing like this time last year.
