We woke up to some convincing snow this morning. The view out of the front of our house has changed quite a bit since the end of September as you can see.We had a very nice day. This morning we left E5N1 at the YMCA crèche whilst the rest of us went swimming. It had been quite a while since the girls had been, so we had some confidence rebuilding to do, but we all had fun. When we got home we set to work tidying and cleaning - daily and long-put off tasks respectively. The spur was a play-date this afternoon. One of Exile #3's classmates came round with her mom and the three girls played and the adults (and E5N1 when he was awake) spent a very pleasant afternoon and early evening talking by the fire, watching the girls' performances and then eating and drinking until tiredness turned the kids to a mixture of grumpy and fragile - at which point we called it a day.
