Day 5.116: Frosting, noses

One of the problems with finding yourself in a foreign culture is that you tend to assume that whatever you encounter is completely culture-normal however strange it seems to you.

So, having returned from a Cinco de Mayo birthday housewarming party that the following are the traditional ways to celebrate:

False noses and green teeth-staining cupcakes.

It's always possible that these things are not entirely normal.
