Day 5.114: Out with the old, in with the cars

Thanks to some help from John and his pick-up, today we reclaimed our deck from slowly dissolving cabinets, our garage from its role as a workshop and part of our basement from being a storage place for doorless wall cabinets.

Despite appearances to the contrary, this is John throwing - fairly gleefully - things from the back of the truck onto the appropriate pile at the dump, not levitating it in some kind of a trance.

We are very grateful and it is very nice to be getting the rest of the house back to normal after the knock-on disruption from our kitchen project.
