Day 4.083: It's all over for the banks

Yesterday the kids posed by what was left of the snow-bank by the side of the driveway.  Exile #3 had already had another go at spreading it out as much as possible to get rid of it.  Tonight, as far as I can tell in the dark, it is all gone.

Maybe we'll be able to take our 'holiday lights' down one of these days.

Today was a nice family day featuring a slightly chaotic conversation with my family - assembled for Mothering Sunday a.k.a. Mothers' Day (UK), a trip to the swimming pool, a game of Monopoly (enjoyed but abandoned) and our monthly pot-luck dinner at church which was augmented by at least 9 visitors.

All very satisfactory!
