It would be a massive under-statement to call this a rough calculation, but that's how fast I estimate the wing-tips of this chickadee to be travelling.If anyone wants to check my working, you need to know that the exposure was 1/500th of a second. In that same time the Mourning Dove moved approximately nowhere.
After work today I had my 'annual' physical. It seems I am in reasonable shape. The last one was rather more than a year ago back on Day 286 - this time I resisted the temptation to get my camera out to mark the occasion.
