Day 2.036: False hopes
With Exile #4 continuing her rapid recovery, we decided a small activity was in order again. With the sun shining brightly and the snow rapidly disappearing we thought it might be nice to get some fresh air, so we went to walk in a big park just north of Albany. It was brutally cold. This is one of the few pictures I got of everyone walking forwards - for much of the time one or more of us were reversing to avoid the wind blowing on our faces. Nevertheless, we had a nice walk and for the first time E5N1 did the whole thing on foot. Afterwards, the kids played on the rather good playground there.
Now if we could just persuade E5N1 to keep his gloves on and avoid the cycle of: everyone's OK, he takes his gloves off to pick something up, he gets cold hands, he starts crying, we stop, take our gloves off to put his back on, put our gloves back on, everyone's OK, he takes his gloves off...
