Day 6.238: A froggy surprise (or two)

As we got out of the car in the garage the other day, we surprised this little fellow - and then chased him out onto the driveway to pose for a portrait.

A less pleasant surprise was his much larger cousin - just hanging out in the rainwater in a plastic trash can left out in the yard (rubbish bin in the garden). He seemed content enough, but was - presumably - stranded until I tipped the water and him out into the damp undergrowth.

Incidentally, I don't know what kind of frog they each are, but I least I know I can safely call them frogs!
